India Office, August 1, 1912. WITH reference to your letter, dated the 29th July, 1912, on the subject of the arrangement contemplated for the purchase of Yunnan opium by the Government of French Indo-China, I am directed by the Secretary of State for India in Council to say that he concurs in the terms of the communication which Secretary Sir Edward Grey proposes to make to the French Government.
